Run for PVHS. Love running, chilling with the boys, and respecting women. As far as I know I don't have kids. Currently at 19/20

Overall good run. Started off with some tightness in hips and left quad but that went away a few minutes in. My feet were in pain most of the run due to blisters and sores caused by old shoes (hoping to get a new pair today). Was able to complete the level 3 time but got separated from the group when I had to throw up. It still feels like at this point I can't maintain their speed for the whole workout. I'm hoping to be able to stay with them the whole time once the season really gets going, but the biggest struggle is less my physical ability but more my mental. I'm still in a sprint workout mindset a lot and need to work on that. Overall today was 6/10

Woke up with a ton of pain and stiffness in injured knee so I decided to play it safe and do a swim workout that targets the legs instead of running. Did 5x200m reps of freestyle, then another 3x100m reps of kick boarding, and finished with 2x50m reps of side kicks. Overall it felt like it worked my legs pretty good and didn't hurt my knee so hopefully I'm good to run tomorrow 🙏🏽 . Today was 8/10

Went on a lit night run with the boys around the Greensprings area. We had 35 minutes with 3x3 minute pickups. I had to take the last pickup a little slower then the rest of the guys but still pushed myself hard. Had little to no pain in my knee during our run. I was able to get new shoes with really cushioned soles which I think helped a lot with my knee pain. I've noticed myself getting really discouraged with my running lately cause it feels like I'm not being as successful in my goals as last year. I know it's because my goals are a lot higher this year and I'm pushing myself way harder then I did last year, but it still kinda sucks sometimes. But overall it's definitely worth it if it means accomplishing my goals for this season. Today was 7/10

Just a quick recap of the past week. Was up a WSU from Sunday to Friday and wasn't allowed to leave campus. There wasn't a ton of area to run so just kept workouts to 30 minutes every morning at level 3 pace. These workouts got really boring really quick cause of how small the campus was. Overall the week was 7/10

60 minute long run today. It was my first long run of the season and actually felt really great. Had zero knee pain which was pretty baller and was able to accomplish the goals I set for the run. It feels great to finally be starting to get back into distance shape and I'm so pumped for what this season will hold. Today was 9/10. Also I couldn't find Danny Duncan on Athletic.net :/

45 minutes with grass and striders. I always love grass runs so this felt pretty great today. Some pain in knee but not to bad, probably just need to warm it up a bit better before runs. Was feeling a lot of tiredness in my legs from yesterday's run and mentally struggled getting through about the last 10 minutes of today's workout. Overall though it was great and except for how miserably hot it was I had a really enjoyable run. Today was 9/10
